The dawn of a new year represents a shift in time, space, and energy.  2024 is your year. It belongs to you. It is a call from the universe to invite your intention to rise from your heart. It is an opportunity for you to let go of everything that might be holding you back so that you may soar far, high, and wide. It is prime time to rewrite, or refine, your story. This retreat is about seizing your blank canvas so that you may paint or draw whatever vision you seek and witness it manifest. So, clear your palette, plant your seeds, and watch your growth flow effortlessly from within.

Join me in welcoming 2025 with an open heart and our collective spirit.

THE RETREAT

Join us for a transformative 4-day winter shamanic yoga and mindfulness retreat, where we will explore how a loving-kindness practice and the natural energetics of the body can foster physical, emotional, and mental balance. Set against the serene backdrop of the British countryside, this retreat offers a much-needed chance to relax and recharge. Immerse yourself in daily yoga, soma breathwork, shamanic fire ceremonies, and cacao and gong ceremonies. This holistic experience invites you to recover, rescue, and reclaim—the three R’s. Nourish your body with delicious, plant-based meals prepared by our private chef.

THE YOGA

Join me for uplifting morning yoga sessions, tastefully balanced with afternoon recreational activities intended to inspire your reserves and invite tender curiosity as to what serves you best. Through therapeutic flow, mindful meditation, breathing awareness, and tension-releasing techniques, you will discover how to deploy your experience on the mat in the wider and all-encompassing context of your life. Enriching your presence in the practice, and not falling into habitual patterns, will guide you to a newly energised you. Expect the unexpected!

THE VENUE

The barns are located on a farm in the village of Doughton, just walking distance from Tetbury.  It’s classic Cotswold country, with great walks from the doorstep to pubs, restaurants and shops.  They both have their own enclosed gardens and look onto the fantastic Elizabethan ‘Doughton Manor’.  Surrounding the property are gardens and a beautiful small lake (that may have been the origin of the name Doughton, meaning”Duck Farm”) and there is plenty of wildlife on the farm.  There are lots of lovely Cotswolds walks in the area and we have maps and suggestions galore.  Highgrove is the private residence of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, near Tetbury in the Cottswolds. You have an opportunity to shop at the Highgrove farm shop, if you wish to.  This is a stunning and spacious creative space that will allow you to unleash the potential, the divine essence, within you.

Once you arrive at our sanctuary, you will immediately sink into home. Whether it is settling down in front of a roaring open fire, or going for a restorative walk in the countryside, this is the perfect place to escape the post-Christmas blues.
