Slow down, stop doing and………….be!
Seize this golden opportunity to soak yourself in gratitude, express your intention, and leave the rest to unfold through the universe’s magical touch.
Join me for a long weekend retreat of yoga and relaxation and stay at the luxury Combe Grove Manor House located just outside the historic Georgian town of Bath.
Combe Grove is a haven. Hidden in the beautiful Somerset countryside and overlooking the rolling hills of the Limpley Stoke Valley, part of the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is the perfect location to practice our yoga and meditation.
As well as up to 3 yoga classes a day, you will have plenty of time to explore the various woodland walks, swim, have a massage and other wellbeing treatments….or just simply enjoy the peace and tranquillity and curl up with a good book. The choice is yours!
We will practice our yoga in a specially built yoga hall within the retreat centre which is light, warm and airy and all your yoga equipment is provided.
As on all of Alexandra’s retreats, the yoga is suitable for all ages and abilities – everyone is welcome whether you are an experienced yogi or a complete beginner.
This is an opportunity for you to unwind, relax, enjoy yoga breathing techniques and practice a wide range of yoga poses and meditations in a peaceful, calm and totally secluded environment.
Arrival on Friday is from 2pm.
There are four treatment rooms and a team of fully qualified therapists that offer a full range of treatments during your stay. These can be booked before you arrive or during your stay. Guests also have the use of the indoor and outdoor pools, steam room, hydrospa beds, indoor and outdoor tennis courts and a fully equipped gym.
Or if that all sounds all a bit too energetic, you can just curl up on your private balcony and read a good book … or maybe an afternoon snooze
All towels including swimming towels are provided.

For anyone who enjoys walking there’s 64 acres of grounds, woodland and wildlife to explore. Bath itself is surrounded by many walks: Bath Skyline Walk, Kelston Roundhill Walk and the Cotswold way to name a few.
Bath city is a 10 minute drive away.
How about Bath by Bike guided bike tour? Navigate hidden historic streets and experience great views of the city from tranquil canal side paths
There’s the Roman Baths one of the finest historic sites in Northern Europe, and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the UK. The thermal springs still flow with natural hot water.
The Royal Crescent one of Bath’s most iconic landmarks. This impressive landmark is arranged around a perfect lawn overlooking Royal Victoria Park . It is, without doubt, one of the greatest examples of Georgian architecture anywhere in the UK.
Nestled in the heart of the city is the Janes Austen Centre, a permanent exhibition that explores Jane’s time in Bath and the influence that this beautiful city had on her books, characters and personal life.
There’s also Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge, Tea rooms, Gift shops, more… Or further afield is the medieval village of Lacock and Stonehenge’s mysterious megaliths.
